Messages saying "update KYC", "account blocked", "electricity will be cut" or "parcel held" with a link are fake.
Do not click these links. Do not call the numbers written in these messages.
If you are worried, open your bank app yourself or go to the branch.

Dear customer, your SBI account will be BLOCKED today. Update your KYC now: http://sbi-kyc-update.in

Answer: Scam. Banks never send KYC links by SMS. The link opens a fake website that steals your details.

Your parcel is held at our warehouse due to an incomplete address. Pay ₹25 to redeliver: http://indiapost-redeliver.co

Answer: Scam. Even a small payment link steals your card or UPI details. India Post does not ask like this.
